  • DISH is a leader in the cloud-based network, which is going to be a necessity to get into the enterprise businesses.
  • 25% of the enterprise business gross utilization wouldn’t be unreasonable for DISH to get, as opposed to the low double-digits in the retail business.
  • DISH’s network is designed for enterprise and wholesale, and it is better positioned there.

Slow sales cycle

  • The sales cycle is slow because of the need to architect, and everyone has a different flavor of what they want.
  • DISH is looking at verticals where it already has relationships, such as rural America and leisure and entertainment business.
  • DISH’s partners like Cisco, Amazon, and Dell have sales forces that are using those products.

Revenue from private networks

  • DISH would expect to start seeing real revenue from private network next year and some movement this year.
  • Companies starting with new private networks will force their competitors to do it because they just won’t be competitive without their own private networks.
